Blue Smoke Coffee is a small micro-roaster — I hand roast every pound to order, literally just 1 pound at a time using beans that are small-family farmed and are 100% Organic, Fair Trade, & Shade Grown.

For each 10 bags of coffee sold via the Coop, Blue Smoke will be donating 1 bag to the Coop, for them to sell for a 100% profit to help support the goal of opening a physical store front.

Blue Smoke donates 5% of sales to environmental and humanitarian causes, most of which are located in our region, including Wild Trails & Trust for Public Land’s campaign to save Stringer Ridge.

Blue Smoke is an environmentally friendly roaster — buying green energy to supply 100% of my roasting studio’s electricity needs, use of corn plastic bags for bulk coffee, composting coffee by products. Blue Smoke offsets 100% of our carbon footprint through donations to American Forests, which plants a tree for each $1 donated to offset Blue Smoke’s carbon.

Blue Smoke delivers in an ultra low emission hybrid vehicle and via bike whenever possible (3 days a week are designated as no-drive days, so deliveries and errands on those days must be on foot or via bike with bike cart.

Blue Smoke’s roasting studio is also equipped with a solar hot water heater, an ever expanding green-roof and a growing array of solar panels.
